In this month’s edition of Getting to Know iSalus, we interview one of our Medical Care Coordinators, Lonisha Foster.
Lonisha helps with anything pertaining to providing the best care to patients enrolled in our Care Coordination program, HealthWatch. Whether it’s helping provide access to resources regarding their chronic condition, insurance questions, or if they need someone to talk to, Lonisha is your girl!
Read on as we get to know one of our talented team members.
I have been with iSalus since November 2017. My favorite part of my job is learning something new everyday when speaking with patients or co-workers.
Coffee! One-two cups will keep me going for the day.
The biggest misconception is people assuming my position is part of a scam or that we’re looking to sell items. Our duty is to help those with chronic conditions better manage their health if needed!
My first job was at KFC.
I studied at IVY Tech for General Studies, Brightwood College (Kaplan) for Medical Assistant, and Tricoci University of Beauty Culture for Manicurist.
I would live where the weather is always warm and the sun is shining because I don’t like the winter.
Be better than who you were yesterday!
I am learning to have more patience because without it, you cannot get very far.
I would be an eagle!
I would like to attempt Nursing.
Reading or doing nails!
Pandora, Books, and a Game app.
Sushi!
My favorite trip ever was going to New York.
My first concert was Bow Wow. The best concert i’ve ever been to would either be Beyonce or Chris Brown.
Applebees!
I love music. There are a variety of songs that I have memorized!
We totally agree with Lonisha and would love to live somewhere sunny and warm! And that without patience, in all aspects of life, you do not get very far. Stay tuned for next months feature of Getting to Know iSalus and don’t forget to connect with us on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter!
