Getting to Know iSalus: Kaitlyn Steinway, Consent Caller Team Lead

Join us again for Getting to Know iSalus as we introduce another member of the iSalus Healthcare team, Kaitlyn Steinway, our Consent Caller Team Lead for the HealthWatch division.  With a favorite word like “wanderlust” it’s easy to guess what Kaitlyn is planning for the near future.  If you spend more time with her, you’ll probably end up eating Italian but be careful to chew quietly or you might get on her bad side!!  Here’s the rest of her story in our latest edition of Getting to Know iSalus.

Q: What is your role at iSalus?

A: Consent Caller Team Lead. 

Q:  How long have you been with iSalus and what’s your favorite part of your job?

A:  I have been with iSalus since March 2018. I think my favorite part of my job is knowing that I’m helping provide an extra layer of care for our patients.

Q:  What is your favorite word?

A:  My favorite word is wanderlust.

Q:  What is your least favorite word?

A: I think my least favorite word is probably zit. It’s just gross.

Q:  If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

A:  I think I would really love to live in Tennessee.

Q:  What is your idea of earthly happiness?

A: My idea of earthly happiness is to love and live as fiercely as possible.

Q:  What, in your mind, would be the greatest misfortune?

A: I think that losing the ones I love would be the greatest misfortune.

Q:  What sound or noise do you hate?

A: Hearing others chew/eat is hands down the worst noise.

Q:  What natural gift would you most like to possess?

A:  I think that being more adventurous or courageous would be a great natural gift. I do love to get out and do new things, but I often find myself holding back.

Q:  If you were reincarnated as some other plant or animal, what would it be?

A:  Honestly I think I would be a fox or a Peony.

Q:  What profession other than your own would you most like to attempt?

A: I would love to be a chef. Cooking is something that I have always loved to do.

Q:  What is your favorite pastime or hobby?

A: I think my favorite pastime or hobby is either doing something outdoors or shopping.

Q:  What is the one thing you do every single day that never changes?

A: Tell my puppy that he is the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Q:  Are you a morning person or a night owl?

A: I am not really much of either. I love to sleep, but I prefer nights over mornings.

Q:  What was your favorite trip or vacation?

A: My favorite trip was the last time I got to go to my grandmother’s house in Colorado.

Q:  Are you a beach or mountain person?

A: I’m a good mix of both. There’s more to explore in the mountains, but the beach is never a bad idea.

Q:  What is your favorite food or local place to go for a meal or treat?

A: My favorite food is Italian food. I could eat pasta for every meal easily.

Q:  Anything else we should know?

A: I am currently saving up to travel hopefully someday soon. I love to see new places and I can’t wait to get out on the road.
