Getting to Know iSalus: Ashley McAdams, Assistant Manager of the HealthWatch Division

In this month’s edition of Getting to Know iSalus we want to introduce you to Ashley McAdams, assistant manager of the HealthWatch division.  Ashley loves the mountains and the water but if you share a meal make sure you don’t scrape your fork on the plate!!!

Q: What is your role at iSalus?

A:  I am Assistant Manager of Healthwatch and manager of our Patient consent team

 

Q:  How long have you been with iSalus and what’s your favorite part of your job?

A:  Almost 2 years. My favorite part of the job would be helping others.

 

Q:  What is your favorite word?

A:  Believe

 

Q:  What is your least favorite word?

A: Can’t

 

Q:  If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

A:  The land of the shining mountains, Montana

 

Q:  What is your idea of earthly happiness?

A: Being at peace with myself and others. Living in the moment.

 

Q:  What sound or noise do you hate?

A: a fork scraping a plate

 

Q:  If you were reincarnated as some other plant or animal, what would it be?

A:  Dog

 

Q:  What profession other than your own would you most like to attempt?

A: Emergency Nurse

 

Q:  What is your favorite pastime or hobby?

A: I absolutely love to be out on the water. I enjoy boating, swimming, camping, spending time with my two sons, nephew, friends, and family.

 

Q:  What is the one thing you do every single day that never changes?

A: Thank the lord for another day. Wake up and hug my boys good morning.

 

Q:  Are you a morning person or a night owl?

A: I’m more of a morning person (if it’s a weekday)

 

Q:  What was your favorite trip or vacation?

A: I took my 2 boys to Florida a few years ago to visit family.

 

Q:  Are you a beach or mountain person?

A: Mountain

 

Q:  What is your favorite food or local place to go for a meal or treat?

A: Steak and shrimp
