Tanna Eads

Q: How long have you been with iSalus Healthcare?

I have been with iSalus for four years. I enjoy client relations and making sure our patients are getting the adequate care they need. I also love getting to know the patients on a more personal level and updating their health conditions for our clients.

Q: What is your go-to productivity trick?

Listening to music!

Q: What is the biggest misconception people have about your position?

Being the boss or the “bad guy”. When someone comes into the office, my goal is making sure that they don’t know who the Manager is. We’re all equal and if we’re working efficiently together, then you wouldn’t be able to tell who the Manager is!

Q: What was your first job?

My first job was as a Coroner assisting a Mortician. I then transferred to Major Hospital as an OR Nurse Assistant for eight years.

Q: Where did you study?

I studied at Indiana University for Science Chemistry, Cosmetology of Bloomington for Cosmetology, and MedTech for Medical Assistant.

Q: If you could live anywhere where would it be?

Indiana. My family is the most important thing to me. However, I would love to be a “snow bird” and spend my time in Florida during the winter season!

Q: What advice would you give to your teenage self?

Never giving up on your dreams, no matter what stands in my way! I still continue to strive and always work hard.

Q: What’s one thing you’re learning now?

Learning how to adapt with my new position and making sure that I have personal relations with all the clinical staff – knowing the team individually and not as a group.

Q: If you were reincarnated as an animal, what would it be?

I would be anything that would help someone as a companion.

Q: What profession other than your own would you most like to attempt?

Currently I’m completing my clinical studies for Mortician.

Q: What is your favourite pastime?

Sports! Basketball, football, and a new but old favorite of mine is competitive cheerleading. My children are very athletic so I still get to enjoy these exciting sports!

Q: If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?

That’s a hard one! I love documentaries, staying educated and audible books so I would keep Investgation Discovery, WebClinicalMD and Audible Reads. I also love photos and I can’t pick three so lastly, Shutterfly.

Q: What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?

Frog legs – gross!

Q: What was your favourite trip?

Every year when we travel to the Floridian state as a family.

Q: Any favourite local eats that you’d recommend?

Kumos, anything with sushi!

Q: What’s the first concert you ever went to?

Britney Spears and TOOL. However, my favourite concert I’ve ever atteneded is Zac Brown Band.

Q: What’s one song you have completely memorized?

Anything by Rascall Flatts, Eric Clapton or George Micahel.

We love Tanna’s dedication to her new role, the HealthWatch team and her family. And we’ll definitely be dropping by Kumos for a sushi fix ASAP! Stay tuned for next months feature of Getting to Know iSalus and don’t forget to connect with us on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter!
