In this month’s edition of Getting to Know iSalus, we interview one of our newer additions to the team, Amanda Mack. This All-American woman enjoys a good game of football, Hermanaki wings and the happiest place on earth.

Q: How long have you been with iSalus?
Two months. My favourite part of this job is helping and resolving questions and problems for our clients. Their gratitude makes it all worth it!
Q: Do you have a favourite word?
Determination.
With determination we can do anything we set our minds to!
Q: What is your least favourite word?
Can’t.
Believing in ourselves is so important. You automatically put yourself back when you say you can’t do something.
Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Florida or anywhere with a beach! My family loves the beach and to be bale to go there all the time would be great!
Q: What, in your mind, would be the greatest misfortune?
I am super close with my family so losing them would be extremely misfortunate.
Q: Is there a sound that you hate most?
Snoring! I’m not sure why or what it is about it, but it drives me crazy!
Q: You’re reincarnated as an animal. What are you?
I would be a dolphin. They are known for being joyous and free spirited and that is something I would always want to be.
Q: What alternative profession would you most like to attempt?
A lawyer. I’ve wanted to be a lawyer for as long as I can remember!
Q: Favourite pastime?
We are a huge football family. Whether it is watching my son play, catching the game on tv or attending a game, I really enjoy it.
Q: What is the one thing you do every single day that never changes?
Telling my family I love them. Life is short, so I make sure they know every single day how much they are loved.
Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Morning person, I love waking up, having coffee and starting my day.
Q: Do you have a favourite vacation trip?
This past year, we took our first big family trip to Disney World. They say it’s the happiest place on earth and I couldn’t agree more. It really was a dream vacation for us!
Q: Beach or Mountains?
Definitely the beach!
Q: Any favourite local eats that you’d recommend?
Ale Emporium is our go-to place. You must have their Hermanaki wings!

We love Amanda’s strong family values and wouldn’t mind a woman like her in our corner if she ever gets in the lawyer ring!
