Q: How long have you been with iSalus?

I’ve been with iSalus for about 2 ½ years. My favorite part of my job is the people that I work with on a daily basis.

Q: What is your go-to productivity trick?

Take a short walk every so often just to give yourself a mental break and a few minutes away from staring at the screen and sitting on your butt all day.

Q: What is the biggest misconception people have about your position?

I have no idea. People seem to know exactly what I do… or not.

Q: What was your first job?

A bicycle mechanic.

Q: Where did you study?

DeVry University Chicago

Q: If you could live anywhere where would it be?

Hawaii. I enjoy the culture and seeing the sun every day while still living in the USA.

Q: What advice would you give to your teenage self?

Focus on Faith, Family and Friends. Smile at everyone you meet.

Q: What’s one thing you’re learning now?

Developing mobile applications. Our mobile devices are where we get so much information.

Q: If you were reincarnated as an animal, what would it be?

Man’s best friend.

Q: What profession other than your own would you most like to attempt?

Working for a non-profit.

Q: What is your favourite pastime?

Anything involving cars and motorsports.

Q: If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?

Messaging, Maps, YouTube.

Q: What was your favourite trip?

Every time I’ve visited Hawaii.

Q: Any favourite local eats that you’d recommend?

No place beats Mom’s home cooking.

Q: What’s the first concert you ever went to?

Bon Jovi was the first concert. Foo Fighters was the best concert.

Q: What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?

The weirdest food that I have actually eaten and liked? SPAM. It’s big in Hawaii too.

Q: What’s one song you have completely memorized?

The Humpty Dance.

 

We’re a little obsessed with Hawaii too and definitely wouldn’t mind a tropical vacation as winter approaches. And I’m sure we can all agree with Joey when we say that there really is no place that beats Mom’s home cooking!
